Job Summary:

Atraom Studios is seeking a talented and imaginative Concept Artist to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will have a strong artistic vision and the ability to translate ideas into compelling visual concepts for various projects, including video games, animations, and multimedia productions. As a Concept Artist, you will play a crucial role in shaping the visual identity of our projects by developing character designs, environments, and props that align with our artistic direction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Visual Development: Create high-quality concept art for characters, environments, vehicles, and props based on project requirements and creative direction.

• Collaboration: Work closely with directors, designers, and other artists to brainstorm and develop ideas, ensuring alignment with the overall vision of the project.

• Research & Inspiration: Conduct research to gather references, study trends, and explore various art styles to inform your designs and enhance creativity.

• Iterative Design: Present ideas and artwork to the team for feedback, making revisions and adjustments as needed to refine concepts and meet project goals.

• Art Style Consistency: Maintain consistency in art style and quality throughout the production process, ensuring that all visual elements align with the project’s vision.

• Documentation: Create and maintain a library of concept art, including sketches, digital illustrations, and design notes, for future reference and use by the team.

• Stay Current: Keep abreast of industry trends, tools, and techniques in concept art and design to continually enhance skills and contribute innovative ideas to the studio.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 4 years of experience as a concept artist or in a similar role within the entertainment or gaming industry.

• Strong portfolio showcasing a range of concept art, including character designs, environments, and props.

• Proficiency in digital art tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, and other relevant software (e.g., Procreate, Corel Painter).

• Excellent drawing and illustration skills, with a solid understanding of color, composition, and anatomy.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

• Creative problem-solving abilities and a passion for storytelling through visual art.

• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
